If these are good enough for Quincy Jones, they’re good enough for me…
“…There are three different lines of headphones: The Q701 reference headphones for $480, the smaller Q460, on-ear foldable mini headphones for $230, and the Q350 in-ear headphones for $150. The two lower-end headphones are both iPhone compatible with in-line mics and remote control, whereas the top, Q701 is more about accurate sound reproduction.”
A couple new blogs have sprouted up over the last week or so that are really worth following.
This blog similar to that of Notcot.org but a little bit cleaner looking.
2. Identity Designed
Identity Designed is a new blog by David Airey that displays great case studies of submitted identity projects.
A very interesting and unexpected look at poster design.
what influenced the typographic skeletons
Wondering where to find some really awesome old shots of kalmazoo and the people who inhabited it in the 40’s and 50’s? Westerns library has a great resource for slides and images called the Ward Morgan Collection. im not sure if this link will work or not. but go on the library’s website and follow the collections tab to the ward morgan collections.
made by a boxed water company out of Grand Rapids
These are some interesting case studies I found for my thesis research. I wouldn’t normally think wayfinding for a parking garage could be an amazing design opportunity but Axel Peemoeller has turned it on its head. Also, it’s cool to see that some interesting design is coming out of good ol’ west Michigan; Boxed Water Is Better is based out of Grand Rapids.
Just saw this linked on Gizmodo, linked to Facebook. it’s an interesting story about Ronald Mcdonald stealing guns and nuclear plutonium while being chased by the michelin man. Big boy gets taken hostage, and the Pringles guy gets fresh with the Esco lady? Awesomely done, pretty funny, has some colorful language so maybe headphones are appropriate. check it out.
